Job Description:
Interstate Waste Services, a leader in non-hazardous waste
management in the U.S. Northeast region, is seeking a dedicated
Operations Site Manager to oversee daily operations at one of our
busy waste management facilities. The successful candidate will be
responsible for ensuring efficient operations, compliance with all
legal and environmental regulations, and leading site operations to
achieve maximum productivity and safety. This role requires a
proactive manager with a solid background in waste management
operations, who is skilled in personnel management and operational
logistics. Oversee daily site operations and ensure compliance with
all company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Manage site staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and
performance evaluation. Optimize resource allocation, including
equipment and personnel, to achieve operational targets. Implement
and oversee safety programs to maintain a safe work environment.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure environmental
compliance. Manage budgets and control expenses to keep operations
within financial targets. Enhance operational systems, processes
and best practices for waste management. Facilitate communications
and enforce adherence to all safety protocols and regulations.
Strong leadership and personnel management skills Proficiency in
