Get to Know Your Team: • Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU. Responsibilities: A professional Registered Nurse with twenty-four-hour responsibility for assigned departments within established standards to achieve the mission and vision of BSA. The Nursing Director is responsible for the overall administrative, financial, and clinical activities of the department. • Directing and coordinating all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. • Collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. • Contributing to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care. Qualifications: Job Requirements: • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or actively enrolled/the ability to enroll in a BSN program with mandatory completion within 24 months- required. • Current New Jersey RN license required. • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. • 2-3 years of demonstrated nursing leadership experience Preferred Job Requirements: • Master’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field. • Acute care experience Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role. IDEAL CANDIDATE Director of Surgery – Pascack Valley Medical Center We are working with our leaders at Pascack Valley Medical Center, a 128-bed acute care hospital, to identify a high-impact Director of Surgery to lead and transform a growing surgical services program. This is a hands-on clinical and operational leadership role with full 24/7 accountability across the perioperative platform, including the OR, PACU, same day surgery, sterile processing, endoscopy, and a pre-op optimization clinic.
