active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A part-time Physical
Therapist is needed to provide school-based therapy services for
K-12 students during the 20252026 school year in Spring Valley, NY.
This role focuses on delivering physical therapy aligned with
Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in a supportive
educational environment. Responsibilities: - Provide skilled
physical therapy services to support students mobility, strength,
and functional independence in accordance with IEP objectives and
state education guidelines - Assess and evaluate students to create
and implement individualized treatment plans - Collaborate closely
with teachers, school staff, and families to enhance student
progress - Participate in Committee on Special Education (CSE)
meetings and offer professional recommendations - Maintain thorough
and timely documentation in compliance with district and Department
of Education requirements - Facilitate the generalization of motor
skills across various educational and social settings
Qualifications: - Masters or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
from an accredited program - Valid New York State Physical Therapy
license or eligibility to obtain licensure - Prior experience in
school-based or pediatric physical therapy is highly preferred -
Knowledge of CSE processes and education department standards
strongly preferred - Excellent communication, teamwork, and
organizational abilities Location: Spring Valley, New York
Schedule: Part-time, approximately 2 days per week with some
flexibility Duration: Full semester contract for the 20252026
