Job Description Job Description Family of Caring at Tenafly is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our clinical team. This is a close-knit, family-oriented building where leadership is hands-on, staff are supported, and quality resident care is the top priority. The ideal candidate is a strong SNF nurse leader who values teamwork, accountability, and a positive culture. Responsibilities: Oversee all nursing operations and clinical services within the facility Lead, mentor, and support nursing leadership, RNs, LPNs, and CNAs Ensure compliance with NJ DOH, CMS, and all state and federal regulations Maintain ongoing survey readiness and lead the facility through surveys and plans of correction Oversee infection prevention, quality assurance, and clinical audits Collaborate closely with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team Manage staffing, scheduling, and clinical performance metrics Promote a resident-centered, family-focused approach to care Qualifications: Active RN license in New Jersey Prior Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility required Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations, survey process, and clinical operations Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to foster a supportive, team-driven environment Why Family of Caring at Tenafly: True family-style culture with supportive administration Stable building with strong staff retention Leadership team that values collaboration over corporate bureaucracy Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents and staff IND456
